Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) fuel pressure gauge

jus installed westach gauge, using the fuel pressure outlet test port fitting to the sending unit. eng. is warm. started up but the motor cycles up and down, lights go dim and bright like when you start up on a cold am. did i do something wrong?

sorry folks my bad. took my baby for ah run. 20 psi at idle, 15 on da run. got back everthing a-ok i guess jus wuz not as warm as i thought.
