Dakota Digital

I " third" the Dakota Digital line of gauages. I have had one of the retangle ones in my cubby hole for going on three years now. Have original sender with no problems. The low limit flash is also very nice. Twice It has alerted me of a spontainious LP failure while driving. It make just enough of a different look when it flashed that it catches your attention out of the corner of your eye to look.

Very high quality and good look, it you like digitials. plus there is no mistake on what your readings are: 12. 5 is 12. 5 not 12 and "how many small lines are there?"

Hope this helps,

J-

BTW very easy to install with good instructions.

autometer FP guage...

Don't know 'bout the electric gauges, but I'm running the AutoMeter Industrial(sold under the name AMI) and this gauge sure gives a solid reading. I have an isolator and a snubber in the line and it's connected directly to the VP44. I installed it under the dash so I can see it through the bottom of the steering wheel. The large red needle on the gauge and the excellent backlighting makes it as easy to read as the speedo. It's a 0-15psi and it reads as follows; 15psi(pegged) w/starter bump, 13. 5psi at idle, 10-12psi driving around. So the gauge works well within the operating parameters of the DC fuel system. Guess what I'm sayin' is I'm very happy with AMI gauge and so far it seems to be a strong well built product that incates a long service life. Hmmm... . maybe I should knock on some wood when I say that???
