I know there have been a couple issues with isolators and fuel gauges. I was wondering if anyone is running Autometer's electronic fuel pressure gauge. I just ordered one and was wondering what to expect. Thanks

There are a nuuber of posts regarding fuel pressure gauges. Autometer does approve the mounting of the 15psi electric fuel pressure gauge on a diesel, but, the MAX psi that sender can recieve is 20psi, no more. One of the members i believe said had fuel enter the cab when the sender failed because the fuel travelled down the wire loom so you may want to leave a gap so that if your fails th fuel wont end up in the cab with you and make a huge mess. When i asked the Autometer Tech if he had heard of an unusual amount of failures using those gauges with a Diesel he said "absoluteley not, they are fine" but he stressed as long as you dont exceed 20psi.
