fuel system tap
I removed the schrader fitting from the inlet of the VP-44 and replaced with a tapped banjo, installed 90 deg aeroquip fitting with stainless hose fittings up to needle valve and sensor. My gauge is Dakota digital in the useless cubby. The sensor is mounted to the dipstick tube bracket, there are holes in the bracket and using a cable tie with the eyelet and s/s bolt , the cable tie is strapped to the sensor with some foam rubber stripping around the sensor to help isolate any vibration and bolted to the bracket. Had it on for 1. 5 yrs and no problems. If you have a electric sensor do not mount it to the firewall, the vibration from the engine will travel thru your hose and will shake the sensor to death.
This is only one of the many ways to mount it, I am sure others will chime in and give there methods as well, thats what is so great about TDR.
Hope it helps.
