Im having trouble NOT having a leak on the fuel pressure hose & the fuel pressure sensor on top of the fuel heater/filter head. I've teflon taped it and gotten it pretty tight, but Im still getting a leak. Afraid that Im going to snap off the ends. Any tips or tricks to getting it to finally seal? I know teflon tape doesnt actual "seal" but just lubricates the threads so they can go as deep as possible.

Any help is appreciated.

The Mechanics at work used this stuff from Permatex was put on with a little brush that was on the lid of the can and was for Diesel Fuel connections. I thought that most of the fuel connections were made to not need tape or any kind of sealant. I just rebuilt my sons and my fuel filter/pump setups to include more and better filtration and used none. And have no fuel leaks YET now you have me thinkin thats BAD real BAD

Try going to Home Depot and go to the isle that sells connections/fittings for gas furnaces, water heaters etc and look for yellow colored teflon tape. The yellow stuff is resistant to diesel fuel and I think it even says so on the packaging.
