Fuel Pressure Increase

What would the effect of increasing the fuel pressure supply to the p7100? I'm just curious, I thought that I heard someone talk about this before.

Anything more than the recommended 18-22 psi at idle would just be a waste. It will cause your fuel pump to work harder and wear sooner. The system components, like the filter, would also be more prone to developing leaks with greater pressure.
