Fuel Pressure Install

I’m getting ready to install Westach EGT/Boost, Trans temp, and Fuel Pressure gauges.
I need some help/advise on how and where to get my fuel pressure reading. Do I get it before or after the fuel filter? If before, is it the line on the back side at the top going down to the lift pump? If after, it appears to be metal pipe coming from the bottom of the fuel filter housing to the injector pump with a small piece of rubber tubing in the middle. Is this the place after the filter? I’ve searched for any old archives on this subject and was unable to find anything. If there is one, let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks dt

2001 2500 SLT, Red/Agate, QC, SWB, 4x4, Auto, 3. 54, 40 gal. Fuel/Tool box, Westin SS Step Bars, relocated breather. Just ordered Westach EGT/Boost, Trans Temp. & Fuel Pressure gauges, and Mag-Hytec Rear Diff. cover.

Or can the pressure test ports at the fuel filter or injector pump be used? dt

doc_t, mine is located at the Schrader port on the filter housing(top)(facing the firewall). This allows you to monitor the lift pump pressure. I was told by Brandon that the Schrader located after the fuel filter gave very erradic readings, at least with the SPA. Hope this helps !!!
