Fuel pressure leakdown

I'm puting together an idiot light to monitor my FP and I have a question for you guys that run FP gages, does the pressure leak down after you shut down the eng?

Yes

Right down to zero (with a mechanical guage)

I'm not acutally sure, although I suspect mine actually holds pressure. I say this based on the fact that fuel pressure is instantly equal to whatever it was the last time the engine was shut down as soon as the pump starts.
