Davcruz,

I agree, a very rare occurrence. BTW, my AirDog has the low pressure warning light sensor in the port in the AirDog and there have been a couple of times when that light came on before the fuel psi gauge started diving. That was when the tank was nearly empty and a sudden turn or stop caused the pump to suck air.

Godspeed,
Trent

I remember when I was getting ready to install my Airdog system and I was wondering about the FP gauge sending unit myself and reading all these posts about a "T" and all and I saw the port on the side of the Airdog fuel block for the optional warning light and thought that it was a no brainer to install the sending unit there.

I just cannot imagine that the pressure at the VP44 is more than 1 psi or less different than at the port and since I did away with the factory filter there is nothing between the VP44 and the pump except for about 8 feet of 1/2" fuel line.

The port on the Airdog is 1/4" NPT and I ran a 12" grease gun tube from it to the sending unit which I mounted to the frame rail.
