Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) fuel pressure readings

Recieved Briars test gauge this morning here are the results on :



pre filter:

8-9 idle

4-5 crusing

1-3 wot



vp:

7-8 idle

4-5 crusing

0- wot



Sould I walk or run to the dealer??? What are the specs supposed to be? I have a BD box & 275 injectors. any info will be appreciated. TIA

fuel pressure

probably need a new pump. I get 15 idle

wot 8-9

but with a fueling box you may need a pusher

pump to supply enought fuel. hope this helps. Oo.

Go straight to the dealer, do not pass go, do not collect $200. Those numbers are way to low!

Check your filter first

Dont jump to conclusions, check all the simple stuff first. The filter should be your first suspect. It wouldn't hurt to put a filter in especially if its got a few miles on it.
