Just got the SRT-10 A pillar, gauge(0-16) and sending unit. Instructions say to use tapped banjo bolt in bottom of fuel filter housing, but what a pain to get to. Is there any reason I can't take the other end of that line off at the fuel pump and put the tapped banjo bolt in there, much easier ??:) Was also going to mount the sending unit off of the engine. The sending unit terminals are not marked as the instructions say. Does it make a difference which way they go?? Thanks for the help.

I tapped mine from the pump.

With my mechanical gauge it's a bit noisy, but with an electric it will not make a difference. Go for it, just make sure everything's clean when you swap out the banjo bolt.

The terminals don't make a difference. It's just a ground circuit.

i put mine right on the cp-3. just make sure you have 2 new gaskets and don't over tighten the bolt. mine is an electric unit and i just threaded it to the banjo bolt. it's a simple process, just be clean.
