Fuel pressure sending unit location

Just got the SRT-10 A pillar, gauge(0-16) and sending unit. Instructions say to use tapped banjo bolt in bottom of fuel filter housing, but what a pain to get to. Is there any reason I can't take the other end of that line off at the fuel pump and put the tapped banjo bolt in there, much easier ?? Was also going to mount the sending unit off of the engine. The sending unit terminals are not marked as the instructions say. Does it make a difference which way they go?? Thanks for the help.

I tapped mine from the pump.



With my mechanical gauge it's a bit noisy, but with an electric it will not make a difference. Go for it, just make sure everything's clean when you swap out the banjo bolt.



The terminals don't make a difference. It's just a ground circuit.

i put mine right on the cp-3. just make sure you have 2 new gaskets and don't over tighten the bolt. mine is an electric unit and i just threaded it to the banjo bolt. it's a simple process, just be clean.
