What micron rating do I use for porous disc snubber?



10 microns for water and light oil OR 40-45 microns for oil?

I really don't know on your application, but for adding a second fuel filter back where the tank is, a 30 micron filter is recommended. This helps keep your factory 10 micron filter, after the lift pump, cleaner.

For a diesel fuel snubber 10 microns will work best.

Ordering 1/8" NPT 10 micron porous disk snubber from McMaster-Carr Supply, part number 4034K61.

Are you using the disc filter snubber on the feed side of the fuel filter? What's the purpose of using a filter snubber?

Snubber use...

The snubber is being used to "soften" the fuel pressure pulses for an electric fuel pressure sending unit. Not to "filter" the fuel.
