Fuel pressure "Test" gauge

I have my "Pusher Pump" form Enterprise on order and am hoping it will arrive any day, i also have my fuel pressure gauge setup being done by www.smokindiesel.com . Here is the situation, from what i can tell, the pump will arrive here before the gauge does, possibly by more then a week. I would like to install the pump as soon as it arrives since i have the time now and i may not in a week. BUT i want to know my fuel pressure BEFORE i install the pump so i can see the difference and have a baseline to go off of.

So... does anyone sell a test gauge that basically screws on to one of the test ports that i can buy TOMMOROW and have sent here ASAP? I have 2 different types of pressure test gauges but they are both for Gas EFI systems and wont work on the Ram. Any suggestions?

You don't happen to have one of those Large Auto Parts chain stores in your area that just happens to lend tools for a small fee or free would you? That might be your best and most definitely cheapest route unless you need a test guage on a more permanent basis.



Maybe you might have an old Gasser type cylinder compression guage lying around that you could change adapters?



Just some off the cuff thinking, maybe it might jog the brain cells for you. Good luck in any case.

maybe one of the little liquid filled 1 inch gauges that is used on carb's for fuel pressure. one of those and a boost gauge install kit and you would have a gauge you could run into the cab and then remove.

summit makes this one. they have them in 0-15 psi or 0-30 psi

EMD , what are you doing on saturday morning ? take a ride up to scotts shop and we have the factory test gauge , you can test to your hearts content .

The gauges you have should work fine for testing the pressure up to the lift pump, but NOT AFTER the injection pump. You probably just need the right fittings and some hose. Pressure will be less than 20psi.
