I have a 2005 2500 5. 9L. . My fuel pressure between factory filter housing and a separate 2 micron filter is reading 10-11psi at idle when cold and about 5-6psi when warmed and driving. I still run the factory fuel separator and have an xx fuel filtration set-up with 10 micron sep. and 2 micron fuel filter running before factory housing. Rail pressure is normal and do not fill any loss of power. do you think it is time to upgrade fuel pump. . obviously this still has factory lift pump in tank. . no power adders. .

Sounds fine to me. If you have a doubt, run the fuel line (after all the filters) into a bucket and test flow rate. You don't need a lot of pressure, just good volume. I see no reason to change anything on your set up.

I have the same setup and run about 400rwhp on the stock pump and have no intentions of upgrading any time soon. 9psi at idle, 5. 5ish WOT.
