Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Fuel pressure with FASS

Installed a fuel pressure gage for my 02 and get a steady 15 lbs. At full throttle with a skidsteer behind it would drop to almost 14 but no more. This seems good as far as consistency but is the idle a little low? I mounted the sending unit on top of the FASS but its not completely upright. DW

Sounds right I get ~15, higher if it is cold out. As the filter needs changed you will see it drop off.

mine stays at 18. 5-19. 0 psi (idle thru WOT) no reduction in psi at all... .

I forgot to say when I burn BioD the psi is about 2 psi lower. I think it is more slickery

14-15 is fine, but it would be nice if the gauge was measuring right at the inlet to the VP. Where your sending unit is probably ok though.
