Where is the best place to get a reading of the fuel pressure? I installed a pressure sender on top of the fuel filter, I only get readings of about 5 to 6 lbs. and that seems low to me.

I have the sensor at the top of fuel filter and my readings area steady 7.5 PSI dropping to around 7 PSI under acceleration.

I run an Air Dog II. I tapped into the feed line going to the CP3. I see 17psi most of the time, dropping to 14-15 when in the pedal hard. In retrospect, the problem I was having with fuel delivery a few years ago was most likely caused by the bypass valve inside the tank unit malfunctioning, causing me to loose pressure when I needed it most. I will say, I have had Pureflow(Airdog) replace the fuel pumps under warranty twice now. For some reason, I'm only getting about a year of use out of the pump motors. I see the newest one has version 3 stamped on it's label. I wonder if the plumbing from the Airdog will work with a FASS? I am getting tired of replacing fuel pumps, even if they are covered under warranty.

They (Cummins) quit the fuel pressure as a measurement along time ago, they measure it in gph (gallons per hour) now a days. So you will have to go with other members readings that have the same set up as you do.
