Fuel Pressure ?

Relocated lift pump to frame rail in 2003 on my 2001 and added gauge.

Now on 2nd lift pump since 01'. 109K miles total.

Pressure sits at 12 when driving along, hard acceleration drops it to 9.

Time for a new pump before cross country trip ?

I always carry some tools and a new lift pump. I had to change one on Beartooth Pass several years ago.

OEM type pump? If so that would be about right.

Numbers sound good to me, very similar to the brand new FASS DDRP pump I installed last year into a buddies '98.5 - he reported these exact numbers to me.
