How many ways are there that can cause fuel pressure to drop off? I know that a faulty lift pump is one cause, but how many other possibilities are there.

Bad overflow valve, one of the three filters plugged, collapsed or kinked fuel line, shut down solenoid or linkage not opening all the way and out of fuel.

Thanks Bill

Good list of places to look. I'm curious where the third filter is however. I'm aware of the pre-filter (just replaced a couple of weeks ago), and the obvious filter, (due to be replaced soon), but that third one has me stumped. Also, how does one test the overflow valve (pressure gauge?) or???. shutdown solenoid works fine and the linkage has not been worked on, so I believe it to be OK. It co8uld be possible that a fuel line is collapsing. I have done a visual check on them and they appear OK, for what ever thats worth. I ask these questions because I can no longer get more than around 26lbs. boost (mid 30's in the past) and it seems to start de-fueling. I can't find any leaks on the air side of things. Thanks
