Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Fuel Presure guage connection threads

OK,

what can we use on the brass threads of the connecters, used in the installation of a fuel pressure guage? I know that Teflon tape is not good, so what else would work?



I have a small drip from my needle valve and tightening the thing doesn't do any good. Time for Plan "B".

You can use Teflon tape... . make sure you get the fuel oil/diesel fuel rated stuff... it comes in a yellow container.



Just don't use it all the way to the end of the threads so that the chances of the tape contaminating the system is reduced a bit.

Never heard of such stuff as diesel/oil rated teflon.



Where would someone find that tape ... surly not at the hardware store. Would it be at a NAPA or something line that?

Home Depot has it... I don't remember the brand though...
