Fuel filter would be the first thing I check. Your fuel pump is in the tank correct?

As is normal running condition on a factory lift pump or aftermarket pump? That's not a drop I would ignore.

everything is stock accept the sending unit isspro, from the bottom of the stock filter housing, i was running on flat ground about 60mph when i noticed the gauge was down
to 7lbs normal was 9lbs i did put a 5 micron filter in it 15 hundred miles ago

Seems normal based on the ~100K miles I ran a fuel psi gauge on my 05. 9-11 at idle, 7-9 empty light cruise, 6-8 towing, 4-6 towing hard up a grade. Sometimes as low as 3.
