04 fuel problems

truck starts and idles fine, starts down the road and losses throttle response, sometimes even quits, starts back up, idles fine, have changed fuel filter three times and ran howes thru it too, no engine light either... ... ... ... is it the lift pump, fuel control actuator or what?

Kind of sounds like a lift pump. You should have a code or two. That is how my 03 acted when the lift pump went except after a few attempts it quit completely.

still no codes, and will start and run, just losses throttle response after awhile

im not familiar with the new trucks but do they have a throttle response sensor of some sort, then again if no codes then it may not be a sensor. That is bumpuzzling for sure, if you have a Cummins shop nearby i would call them and ask if they have a tech that has a few min. to talk. . could be that they might know right off what it could be.
