I just got a DiPricol fuel pressure gauge for my '03, but I have a few ?. First, I got the hose from Geno's, but my truck does not have a shraeder valve so can I replace one of my banjo bolts with one from an '01 that has the valve? Or is there another simpler solution?

I bought the tapped banjo bolt from Genos and some new gaskets, put it in the inlet for the high pressure pump. The tapped banjo bolt has a female 1/8 npt for you to connect to. I bought a brass right angle connector and an 18 inch grease gun hose with 1/8 npt male each end, then connected to the isolator that I mounted on the edge of the plastic battery tray. You'll also need a 1/8 f to 1/4 m npt configuration to connect the grease gun hose to the isolator.

It's the front I believe. I know I followed the fuel line from the filter and where they have a short run of rubber hose between the filter and the high pressure pump, it's the bottom one. Follow that one to the high pressure pump and that's the one to take out. Remember to torque the new banjo bolt very carefully to avoid snapping it off.
