fuel pump numbers?

I had my lift pump replaced under warranty. The fuel pump number they replaced was not even close to the ones I"ve seen on the forum. Can anyone shed some light on this?

No, it's not a Carter number. It is, however, the latest and greatest D-C part number for the pump including the adapter harness for the older trucks. You got the correct one. I've got the box from my one-month-old pump right in front of me.
