just wondering can you take out the spring that the starwheel controls under the afc housing:confused: if so what will it do? if not what will it do? thanks

You won't want to take that spring out. It will cause way too much fuel during pre-boost operation. Of course it will have an affect on things after boost is up also. I have not tried this but it doesn't sound like a good thing.

Some people will gut the AFC housing and take out the spring and foot. If you're wanting to use your truck to make obnoxious amounts of smoke then there may be some merit to doing this, otherwise I wouldn't recommend it. You'll get way too much fuel before the engine is ready for it.
