Do any of you'll have pics of your fuel return line from the injectors, I was told that a 1st gen dumps in the return line instead of the filter housing like a 2nd gen, looking to make the change.
I don't have pictures But, the return lines from the injectors and pump come together near the rear of the engine and then go back to the fuel tank. They do not connect to the fuel filter. I think that this is for the purpose of fuel circulation to cool the VE pump.
I'll 2nd Jim, it is a very easy swap. Takes less than 30 minutes. Part number for line is 3909696, and banjo fittings is 3903380. Hope that helps. alonzo
That is correct, the idea is to get hot fuel back to the tank and away from the delivery system, it just depends on the PIA factor and cost too. I have the delivery system planned out now and I might change this too but I needed to see it.
