2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission fuel sending unit leak

i've developed a fuel leak in one of the fuel lines(i hope its not the fitting)

anyone have an issue like this in the past?

or info on the fitting if it breaks, thats my worry, i really don't want to have to drop the tank

i have a pic that shows the line if anyone needs more info

That drawing is a generic parts manual drawing.

I can't help you with a part number or price - my parts manual has an error in it!

If it's broken, don't let anyone sell you the complete module - just part #3. Part #3 on a diesel tank will have provisions for two hoses, the supply and return lines. The gasoline version uses a single hose - like in the first drawing I posted.

Had the same problem last year. Had to drop the tank to access the lines. Good news is that my mechanic was able to rebuid, replace the nipple part with a stock brass fitting. Has been working well so far.
