Hello all, I recently had a problem with the old girl shutting

down in the middle of the road. I did some searches the other day and I thought I ran across a post that stated someone rebuilt their own fuel shut off solenoid and it went further to tell the names of the parts for the coil. Like an idiot I did not write them down and now I can't find that post. Does anyone recall this post or can they tell me the maker of the coil in the solenoid?

Thankd Dan.

The only person I know that has been rebuilding the shutdown solenoids is LarryB.

He was working on a kit to rebuild them.

Worst case scenario is that you can take the shutdown solenoid right out of your truck if it fails. The 'default' position for the shutdown lever is the 'run' position. The only downside is that you have to manually shut her down until you get the solenoid repaired... . OR convert to a cable shutdown like I did.
