no more buying FSS. this is the permanent fix to the problem. just like a tractor. mechanical over electrical!!

I'm with ya' bro. It would cost me like $10 to replace this one. I've been down that road before and bought a bum FSS from the Cummins Dealer... Not again...

Kit for manual shut off

I sent a PM to Bruce Adams (screen name: Ben Rumson) and he has a set up with all of the part numbers for what you need to buy and excellent step by step instructions with pictures. He was very nice and e-mailed the instructions to me. I haven't had a chance to hook mine up yet, but it looks very complete.

Anyone interested in parting with the plunger assy that have gone to a cable? Mine came apart and is wired together until I get home and find a new assy.
