My '94 Dodge 12 valve has to be started by rasing the fuel shutoff solenoid lever manually with the key on. I have taken the solenoid off and it functions properly. I replaced both relays but did not check them for proper function. They were bought from a reputably auto parts store locally. After checking wiring and generally messing with the system, the solenoid could be heard to click as it should two or three key cycles; but could not get it to continually function properly from with the ignition switch. I am mostly a parts changer and cannot figure what else could be wrong. I will check the relays to be sure; but other than that I have not other clues. Thanks Jerry (P. S. --I am not a computer wizzard either; I have just not found how to check the replies to my posts)

Check the blue wire on the positive post of the driver side battery. It's a fuseable link. It may be corroded, broken, or loose. If it's broken just splice it back together. Email me at -- email address removed -- for my 12 valve fuel system write up, how it works and how to fix it. It has a picture of the blue wire and where it's at.

Thank you for the diagram and the end quote. Being a Christian and having my son leave yesterday for the remainder of his tour in Iraq; it really hit home.

Joe and Bmoeller... ... ... thank you guys for an easy fix. It was something that I would have probably never seen. The fusible link had corroded at the terminal under the plastic sheath which would explain the couple starts that I got out of it after reconnecting the cables... . Thanks again, Jerry (p. s. it's great to belong to such a great Dodge following)
