Ok I see the confusion.
You are talking about a fuel preporator. And yes these do remove the air from the fuel. I, or possibly we, are confusing these with an oil spinner.
I would really like to try one too(I don't think there is such a thing as trying it when they cost as much as they do), as I have heard they are great investments for the big rigs. More HP and better fuel economy.
They are ~$750, so installing one our our truck is a little spendy. From what I understand they are good for a 1-3 MPG increase in fuel economy on a Cummins. Chip at Blue Chip Diesel installed on on his truck and if I remember correctly got about 2 MPG.
I think Enterprise Engine sells these too. You might try them for some more info.
