I'm looking for an electric fuel supply pump to transfer diesel from the tank to feed the injection pump. I'm looking for something with around 50lb. of pressure. Who all makes them? Where do you guys get all of yours for your modified pickups?
Call Scheid Diesel, don't have the number handy, sorry. I think they have a link in the "links" above. They build lots of injection pumps for pulling tractors and can sell you or tell you where to buy one.
There has been quite a few that have put a Sureflow sprayer pump in the system. You have to make sure to use one with the Viton seals. They are in the $100 range and capable of 40 to 60 psi. This is a simple and effective way to feed the P-pump with adiquite pressure and flow. How may cc's is your injection pump flowing? The SS IH tractor I had used a Barry Grant pump and I did not think it was any more effective than the Sureflow.
If you want to get hi tec and big$$$ go to Hypermax, Schied or Staab for one of thier belt drive models.
