I had an issue of losing power when going down the road around after getting about 100000 miles on the truck. I had the lift pump replaced at the Cummins shop in Tulsa hoping it hadn't damaged the injection pump yet. The truck never died and I never had trouble starting it. I now have 140000 miles on it and has recently changed what it is doing. Still no trouble starting and no dying, but it is like it needs to warm up before it puts out any power on the road. If I start it and let it idle for about 5 minutes, it runs normally when I go to take off. However, if I don't let it "warm up", it takes about 5 minutes going down the road before it will accelerate and run normally. Did I indeed screw up the injection pump, or could this be something electronic or with the computer somewhere? Thanks for any tips and advice.
