Hey fellas. I posted a thread on here bout a week before Christmas stating that my truck had died in while driving down the road, almost like it ran out of fuel without the sputtering. I was told to check the fuel shutoff solenoid which i believe is towards the front of the pump and below the TPS, correct? It has a wire running from one end and a small piece of fuel line running back into the pump. This seems to be working correctly when the key is on a plunger shoots out but doesn't go back in on its own when the key is turned off. That was the first thang I checked next I added some fuel just to make sure cause my gauge doesn't work. Surprisingly after adding fuel it started and I let it idle for a minute then drove it down the road and it quit about a 1/4mi latter just as it did before. I got it back to the house and proceeded to bleed the lines at the injectors and start it again but it won't start. With all the lines cracked at the injectors and it cranking, only the middle 2 attempt to blow out fuel, the others just kinda leak a stream. Haven't had time to mess with it any more but I'll check the fuel filter. Could yall please give me some good news about my problem, ie not the injector pump hopefully cause I aint got the money. Could it be the lift pump? Thanks in advance and sorry for the long post.
