What do you have to do to your fuel system as you increase hp. I got alot of mods and when I'm in a good pull the truck starts to buck. The fuel pressure only drops to 12psi:confused:

I had the same problem with my TSTcomp and it is usually a "loose" wire. I say it that way since all the connections were tight but its a PITA as you never know just when it will buck and how hard. My prob was acctually the plug inside the cab which screws together. I was told I didnt have enough fuel by TST, I have a FASS 150 and the guage reads over 16psi never less. I cleaned the IAT, changed the MAP, soldered the connectors greased the plugs ,ect. After NEW VP44 bucked I took the box off and will wait for ADRENALINE. Sorry for the rant.

I added a second ground wire to my Comp (from the air horn to the left fender where a small ground from the battery already attaches). Solved some drivability issues I had a while back!

DCreed I understand your rant it sound alot like my problem I'm not sure what is going on because I have a edge w/attitude when I'm in a pull it bucks and when I turn it to stock and it quits. It does it on all other levels. Checked connections changed filters checked map. I have a FASS 150 with 3/8 line bigger line from tank to stock fuel filter rest is stock. Have a Blue Chips injection pump. With edge on 5 and 100hp injector should be making 450hp or so. The buck is real bad when towing and can barely notice when empty.

Does any of those companys make just fuel line upgrades?

3/8" should be more than enough, I would change the banjo fitting to webber fitting if you haven't already, I can't remember which kit supplies replacement banjo, but if thats what yours did, I would change them for sure.

One more quick question on fuel line upgrade. Do I need to upgrade my stock fuel filter or will it be able to carry enough flow if I only upgrading to 3/8" line.

My FASS HPFP has no trouble pumping through the stock filter. Bigger fuel lines & AN fittings get rid of most of the restrictions. My stock lift pump actually did a fair job till it crapped out.

Well I got my fuel line upgrade complete and pulled trailer again made no difference. Still bucking bad as ever#@$%!. I'll go back over connection again. Beast2B you said about adding a second ground I'm don't completely understand the edge already has a ground right to the batt. So how did you add the second ground to the comp.

My comp was arranged with a ground that attached to one of the bolts at the air horn. I butt spliced a second wire in that lead and attached it to the fenderwell with the direct battery ground. Made a difference on mine, but it could also indicate a loose ground somewhere else between the engine/frame/body/batteries.

I also modified my stealth cover after nearly stripping the threads in the cover. I drilled a small countersunk hole on the inside surface so a thin nut would fit snugly. This allowed me to tighten the pointed screw a TINY BIT more and use the two nuts as lock nuts instead of relying on the plastic threads. Make sure the nut is COMPLETELY entrenched in the plastic, I'd hate for it to short on somethingelse in the pump electronics!

Still bucking#@$%!. Well I checked connection on stealth cover and I'm about 99. 9% sure I got a good connection. What I did was pulled the cover put a meter in the hole where the stud goes. Then pulled the wire harness off from the truck and found the pin that corresponds with it. Then put the cover back on tightened the screw and checked the connection with meter had good continuity. Checked the grounds to the VP, block everywhere all good. I don't think it is a sensor or APS because when you got the edge on any setting 1 to 5 pulling a hill don't move pedal or anything and knock it down to stock it will quit bucking. The only thing I did notice was the longer you run the worse it gets. Anymore suggestion would be greatly apprecated. Just another thought and if someone could fill me in. I got alot of mods and don't know if they won't all work together right and mess up the air fuel ratio and make it buck?

I think you've tried hard enough to rule all else out. So contact edge and talk to them, be patient as they will ask everything we did but if it STILL only bucks with edge on, seems you've eliminated all else at this point.

Talked to them not long after I got the edge with this problem. Checked over everything then they sent me a new complete edge w/ attitude and harness. Changed the whole didn't help. This problem is recurring the last time I fixed it it was the stealth cover connection.
