Thats cool TB, but the claim was that you needed the mod to be able to figure mileage correctly.

The important thing to remember is to allways fill-up the same way, one click every time or three clicks every time, to figure mileage correctly from one tank to the next tank.

True, but some pumps are faster than others and when filling faster i think it will shut the nozzle down sooner, with less fuel than if filling slower.



The best way to be sure you have close to the same fill up every time is to have the Vent mod and fill it to the brim-or-spend ten minutes pumping in the last 3. 85 gallons after the click.



I had the vent mod in my 04, and have not installed inmy 06 yet, but will very soon.



With all that said if you average it out over 3-4 tanks the differance is so small why worry about it. Now we can discuss how acurate the odometer is.

Mine is off 1. 5-2. 0 miles/hour according to my Magellan RoadMate and my MicroSoft Streets&Trips with GPS locator.
