What size is the fuel line I need to put onto the fittings on my 06 tank. How long do I need. Is there 2 fittings or only 1?

What do I do, add a couple feet, then secure it down along the side of the tank, or should it go to a higher spot under the bed? Do I even need hose clamps on the tank? Hell, all its doing is keeping water from splashing into the vent.

No way I am going to subject my truck to a whole day at the dealership just for a 1/2 hour job.

1/4" fuel line

There are 2 vents, one on the front, and one the back of the tank.

A foot of tubing should work on each one. Just slip it over the barb and drape over the side of the tank.

I did the vent mod on mine and the front vent was seeping, so I used a clamp on it. But if you are not doing the vent mod,you shouldn't need a clamp.

Hope this helps, Randy

I had mine done at the dealer 2 weeks ago.

I couldn't go so my wife took it in. :-laf

They told her it would be 1 hour so she got a cup of coffee and before she could sit down they said it was done.

Mine is a 4 X 4 so the mechanic just slid under it and put it on.

I figure I should check to see if it is still there at least every oil change.

They told me I had to drop it off the day before, then pick it up that night.

My brothers truck got hit in this same parking lot, NO WAY! If they can't schedule a 1/2 hour job for me to wait, they don't get any of my work.

thanks guys. It took $3. 00 worth of hose (I am in to "over kill" so I put 18" on each fitting) and 10 minutes of time.
