Got it done!
Well, I got the tank vent mod installed, today! Man, it took a while to get off the forward fuel hose. Body & arms contorted and working by feel. Interrupted by a thunderstorm. I finally grabbed a pair of pliers and gripped the hose near the connector and rotated it enough to unlatch that connector. Next step was to remove the rear tire to gain a little better access, but, didn't have to once the pliers trick worked. Poured in about one gallon of diesel and headed off to filler-up. Was able to cram in 40. 02 gallons!
And, it filled quickly after clicking off. First time I ever saw liquid fuel in the downspout!
The vent mod is a darn good one! Thanks, SpooledUp!
