Fuel Tax; Circle the Wagons?

I posted a remark on Other Diesel Topics, Fuel Tax Who is Responsible. It got me thinking. In fact it got me stewing! It seems like every time I turn around I am being taxed more and more. I have always grumbled and moaned about it, then bent over and took it. I think it is time for a change. What are the possibilities that the TDR members of each state, gather as many Diesel Driving people, POV, Commercial, you name it. From Rams, to Big Rigs and on a preappointed day(s) we have a peaceful circling of the wagons around our State Capitals and the White House. Could this really be done? Is anyone seriously interested? Our own little "Tea Party". It just seems to me that it is time for "them" to bend over and let US drive. It doesn't matter who you vote for, they will still tax us to death because, like lemmings, we just go along with it. Maybe I am just dreaming. Maybe I will just get over it. That is,until next spring when we plan our vacation and make sure we don't plan to go to far because the fuel prices are making it impossible to afford. Would the American people back us up. Have the non-diesel driving people considered that they are paying for these over inflated taxes. How do the things we buy, make it to market? How many Diesel pick-ups pull campers, not to mention the Motorhomes. They travel all over the country and pay money to non-diesel driving Americans for services and supplies. What can be done and who is going to do it?
