I would suggest that you solder those connectors to the wires. Then after they are installed coat them with dialectric grease.

Dave,

I'm not sure if that is a stock connection there or not. The guy who built the tank and did the original setup is an extrmemly good welder (that's what he's paid to do) so it looks like a stock weld, but I don't know. Where the hose goes on there, it is barbed for the hose/hoseclamp, so I think that maybe he did add that, but I've never looked at another persons system to see if it has that on there stock or not.

Sorry I'm not much help on that.

I am looking to see if there is a retired lawyer out there who would like the exercise of starting a class action suite against DaimlerChrysler because of the massive lift pump failures or partial failure.

Mine failed and did not leave a code to give a dealer the basis to replace. I replaced mine at my expense even though it was under warranty.

Any suggestions on how to proceed. ?

Anonther idea for the Soleniod is to use an LP valve... usually can get them in 1/4 and 3/8 pipe... SS or Brass... about $25-35... also with a high pressure rating. . some guys are using them on air horns. . (We were using them for their orginal intent... LP. . :D )
