Fuel/Water Seperator - How to reach?

What's the simplest way to reach the control lever on the Fuel/Water Seperator - from the top down, from the bottom up, or through the wheel well?



If from the top, how can a "catcher" be held under the tubing?



If from the bottom, how do you reach the lever?



If through the wheel well, do you use a stick to operate the lever?

Welcome to the TDR, and congrats on your first CTD.



Top down to reach the lever for the fuel filter drain. I went to an auto parts store and got a plastic double male hose adapter and extended my drain line. The first time I drained mine, it puked fuel all over the front diff. Now I put the catch pan on the ground, and it pours right in.

Given the short length of the stock tubing, I hadn't figured a way to (a) hold a container under the tubing and (b) work the lever all at the same time. :-laf
