Fuel Water Seperator

OK What am I doing wrong. I went to drain the seperator to replace my fuel filter. I rotated the yellow handle clockwise from the right side of the case to where it is now in the center pointing towards the front of the truck. No fluid comes out. I tried pushing, pulling, etc. but no fuel will come out. I have a 2007 5. 9L.

Standing at front of trk looking to rear, tip of handle points straight forward for OFF and is rotated outboard 90 degress for ON.

Thanks. I moved the yellow part back and forth several times and found out that I get fuel flow with the valve not quite completely rotated all the way to the right.



Thanks for the help. I assumed that open was pointing to the front of the truck.
