I removed the lock collar from the screw on the back of the pump.

It doesn't seem to turn in any further than before though.

I put the lock nut on right up to where the collar used to be and the screw got "Very tight" just before reaching the locknut.

Now, to clarify, the lock collar covered about 5/16" of the threads at the end of the screw. I should also note that many of the parts under my hood are "Beige" in color.

So, am I maxed out on fuel adjustment?

Did I do something wrong when I put the screw back in?

POD's are next and I want to be sure everything is okay before I take the next step.

Thanks again guys,

Make sure you get bigger injectors before you turn that fuel screw up any more. Turning past the lock collar with factory injectors can subject the pump to extra stress. As far as the locknut getting bound up, the threads on the screw probably need to be cleaned up. I have the same problem on mine and I'll be trying to recut the threads with a die. I've also heard that you can "chase" the threads with a small file. Whatever method you use, it's easiest to just remove the screw from the pump, just be careful of the o-ring.
