Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) fueling and timing boxes?

is there any new fueling and timing chips out there that are better than the tried and true edge comp? due to work and family, i haven't been able to keep up with all the latest out there in the last couple years. i am looking to replace my JVD box (fueling only) with something that will do timing as well. i don't need the fancy digital displays and such as i already have a fuel pressure indicator, boost, and pyro guages. any thoughts?
