I love my EZ! ....but....
I'm gonna buy myself a COMP for Christmas... . I told myself when I bought this truck all I was gonna do was a minor fueling box-then once I got used to that I decided a set of 275 injectors would be the upper limit..... unfortunately this BOMBing stuff is addicting. Despite my best efforts to resist soon I will be joining the dark side
-hoping to be able to limp the stock clutch until springtime (it's still holding the 275's and EZ which is better than I thought it would do) at which time a South Bend will go in and I'll change injectors yet again-at least DDII's-still debating how badly III's will affect my ability to tow. Turbo upgrades in line in the same period of time-as well as some kind of fuel pump upgrade. I'd love to get DD's pump mods done to my VP44 too-but the odds of me making it to Vegas are slim-to-none
. One can always hope can't he????
If I was doing this all again from scratch I would buy the COMP right off the bat-sure a lot cheaper than buying both. At least I've got a couple buddies to sell my takeoff stuff to.
Nobody's holding a gun to your head to hook up the pump wire right off the bat-but the option's open to you at some point in time down the road. My opinion-we all know what opinions are worth right?
