I have a chance at a "Try it before you buy it" VA. Now, get this, this box was sent to a dealer to try on an 600 and the tech told me it wouldn't make it out of the shop! I was under the impression that the VA was for the 555's and the 600's. I don't see how they could be though, with the different factory programs run by the 600's. If that is true, what box did Jannetty test on the 600 shown on the dyno graphs he sent us?
 
wow I dunno. this should be interesting. It could be that the boxes are in short supply.



In general, I expect that the pressure box technololgy would transfer easily over to the 600 platform. We've been told that the ramifier works, the VA, and the quad I think. EZ is notably absent which suggests to me that its a matter of testing and verification than it is functionality. I personally wonder if Edge isn't getting a little big for their britches, as I'm seeing a bit of a tendancy to manipulate the market (with their size and reputation, they know that people will wait for the Juice. they may want the 04. 5 crowd to go Juice as well, and not EZ. who knows... )



I can't make sense out of the fact that the TST works well on the 600 but yet we hear nothing from PDQ or Banks (all timing boxes).



I guess there's just more questions than answers at the moment.
 
I called the tech back just now. He said the 600 immediately set the check engine light, blew white smoke, and wouldn't move under its own power. I'm going to try and install it for a test run this weekend on my 555, time allowing. I'll post the results if I get to test it.
 
Then maybe what Ted used was the 600 flavor. must be something about the VA's use of the crank position sensor or boost fooling that causes problems. this should be interesting!
 
I know mine will only work on the 03. They don't have one listed for the 04 on their web site and my supplier called me back to make sure I didn't have an 04 cuz it wouldn't work.
