Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Full DTT treatment. Loving it.

Recently did the full DTT treatment and loving it. John Issacs at Floor It Diesel Performance in Lawrence, KS did the work. Couldn't ask for better service or a better product. I've driven about 3000 miles so far. The truck feels like it got a major power upgrade, but I guess it's "power to the ground. "

Which TC did you get? My 99 has some of the same bombs that you have,and is in need of the DTT treatment.

JTruelove... . My invoice simply reads "HD Torque Converter" (plus a lot of other stuff). I put my trust in DTT and John to put together a package that met my needs. They custom designed the valve body, etc. , based on my particular use and my tolerance of firm shifts. That's also why I didn't bother with upgrading a single component in the transmission, but rather went all the way. I figure it will be cheaper in the long run and it allows me to avoid frustration as one thing breaks after another. I feel good about the performance of the transmission and very good about the performance of the truck overall.

JTruelove: I got the 89% TC. DTT rocks... . Towing or running empty. I just can't say enough POSITIVE things about the trans or the staff up in Abbottsford BC... ... Your on the right path!

Just got mine installed yesterday!!

I just finished my install of a full dtt transmission with billet input. I think i have the 89% tc, I have only drove it 150 miles or so, but it is awesome, i cant believe how crappy the stock one is over this. If you give it throttle at anytime, its like right there. After having this, the stock one is of even more disapointment. I would like to see what i think after i pull something heavy, time will tell.
