I am just getting around to putting my guages in that I got from Genos back in May. I ordered a full pillar triple guage mount. The one they sent me in the box has a part # 93526 Ram 03(Incl. 02 RAM1500)Light Gray but I was on the ProPod site and they list for a Ram 04( Light Gray) a # 93531. Going by this I have the wrong pillar mount. I will call Genos Monday and see what they have to say.

Also when I was trying to get the original one off the bottome screw came out but the top one just turns in there. Whatever they have on the back of it is just turning. Its gonna be hell to get that bolt out. Anybody run into this problem. I guess this is just my lucky week with what has gone wrong. :D

Just got email from ProPod and they say that the 93526 fits only to 03. The difference is that your pillar is about 1/4" wider that the previous year. It doesn't sound like much but it does make a difference.

Now why would they change this from the 03 to 04 where there is a 1/4" difference? Leave it up to our great engineers  so I will have to call Genos shorthly.

I talked to Genos eairler this morning and the lady said I have the wrong one. She said they just got the ones for the 04 two weeks ago. She would send me out the correct one. I guess it was a little miscommunciation but they are correcting it. Now I still have to get that top screw out. I went by Dodge this morning and one of the mechanics said it is a nut back there that goes through a hole in the A frame. Just my luck and it turns with the screw but I will get it out one way or another.

Yes this does elimante the drivers side grab handle. You take the two screws out and it comes off. But I was the lucky one and got one that somebody overtightened it or something from the factory.

Great, now I don't know whether to use the Auto Meter 3 Gauge cluster for under the HVAC controls (replaces cubbyhole) or get a pillar mount. One wasn't offered when I got the console mount.

I installed the three guage pod on the piller and didn't like it. The top guage was too close to my face. Took it out and installed a two guage pod on the piller and put one guage (tanny temp) in the dash where the cig lighter is. It turned out pretty clean and I am alot happier with them now. :)
