Attention: TDR Forum Junkies New tires make a big difference!
25 trucks, no other Diesels. I went out the gate and was followed by 4 Chevy gassers and 1 Ford.
This was a street legal open class, and these guys made good use of the word "open". Open headers were the mildest alteration. This was basically the high-performance class of another pulling circuit. The winner had screw jacks instead of springs! Dave Mitchells' truck is a grocery getter compared to these guys. Oh well. The second place finisher told me thats pretty impressive to run with us right off the street. Thanks.
Time for the pull off. The clutch was pretty well cooked, and would not hook, so I left off and went home in 6th place. No Money.
I'm hoping I can get one more pull out of that clutch. Schieds.
