I was reading through the install sheets for my new DTT 47RH and noticed that the full throttle shift points were not recorded. Installer said the Egts were too high when he tried to test it. He says I should change out the #6 fuel plate to a #10. Is it a good idea to run a fresh crate trans at full throttle with a bombed motor? I'll have 600 miles on it next week, I've got 300 on it right now. Its so nice to get on it and feel the power doing something. I will have to pull back the fueling. At 200 miles I got on the go pedal and I hit 1200 degrees with about 60% throttle at 80 mph, haven't tried full throttle yet.

Right after my DTT upgrade on my 01 the transmission guy took me out on a test drive. Lets say, he didn't baby it. He wanted to make sure at full throttle is shifted at redline. The difference between a stock transmission and a DTT transmission is night and day.

The DTT trans is doing great, its so so so much better than stock. Its nice to just nail it and go and you actually go. :)
