I like KZ products, but they are really all the same components. The difference is in the structure. I found KZ would build on a goose neck frame and they framed my toy hauler in wood. I wanted a GN frame bad with the upgraded axles and E rated tires. I hate putting 5th wheel hitches in my bed because I use the bed while on the road. The GN set up was great, it came with a 5th wheel king pin also so, I could go either way. I had the triple axle and it was the monster, like 43' long. Its gone now, just too heavy. If I get another it will be smaller. But, it was a good rig for full timing. The Esclade and the New Vision are worth looking at. I guess they still make them.

I also had really good experience full timing in an Arctic Fox 31' TT with the huge rear bath, that trailer held up awesome. Very sturdy, built for cold weather, never froze up in that one.

For me, I look for a true 4 season RV, heated tanks, fully enclosed bottom. Double pane windows, dual A/C units always. I always try and upgrade to the heaviest axles they will put under the frame, oversize the fresh water tank when I can. I like the ability to dry camp or travel without hook ups. I have mixed feeling on built in generators, I had lots of trouble using Onan crap. I run a Honda inverter genset set up now that is portable. Haven't had any issues with the Honda.

I learned to not go super big, ease of hauling is key. I sat around a lot when I had the big toy hauler, 43' was just too big and I was limited to certain eastern RV parks due to the turning radius. I would probably pick up a 34' Desert Fox TT now, but I haul a motorcycle so I prefer toy haulers. They are good on space, extra room for visitors and built tough without being high end expensive. After having 5th wheels I appreciate a camping shell on my truck for the extra hauling room. I put a BBQ smoker and chairs and coolers and whatever in the truck bed locked under a camper shell. We also had a Forest River Day Dreamer 5th, it was nice, well built, just rather have mid level unit. That sucker was pricey! The Arctic Fox and Desert Fox trailers fit me better using an Equalizer brand 12k hitch. But, both my trucks have B&W turn over balls and a companion 5th so I can go either way. Finding a good deal could sway me, but I like a good heavy built 4 season travel trailer. I like spending time outside, I learned to not make the RV my replacement house. I like efficient use of space, outdoor livings, off the grid stuff. I don't really need the 60" TV....

Thanks! We really like it. 32K combined and the RAM does a fine job! We lived in our 07.5 36SB3 for 3.5 years and really liked it also.
